Microsoft recently added an Action Center app from where you can find out new ways of earning rewards from the Edge browser.
Microsoft rewards is a free loyalty program that rewards you for using Microsoft products like Bing, Edge, Xbox, and even more. It is already integrated into the Edge browser for a long time, Action Center is an addon to this.
Action Center app is part of the Edge Sidebar app panel where you will find various offers that you can perform in the Edge browser and get rewarded. The activities and offers include:
- Sign in and sync
- Turn on Recommended settings,
- Bring all browsing data to Action Center Sidebar panel
- Join Reward program
Under Explore the Edge section, you will find tasks like Play Surf the Web Game in Edge (Earn 100 points), Managing Tabs (Earn 150 points), Creating favorite apps shortcuts (Earn 300 points), Optimizing the browser (Earn 200 points).
Similarly, you will get more tasks that you can perform to earn rewards points.
Show or Hide Action Center in Edge Sidebar
Action Center sidebar panel app is available in the latest version of Edge in the Canary channel is turned off out of the hidden. In case, you want to use it, then here’s how you can show or hide in the Sidebar of Edge:
Click on the (+) icon available on the Edge Sidebar. This will open Customize sidebar panel.
Scroll down to the Manage section. Here you need to turn on the Action Center option under Apps.
Instantly, the Action Center app will start appearing on the Sidebar. Click on the Notification icon and this will open Action Center panel.
Here, you get access to all tasks that you can use to earn rewards points.
If you’re not seeing the Action Center option under the Sidebar app section, then don’t worry Microsoft is testing this feature and you will get this app later.
