How To Track Someone’s Location By Their Phone Number

If you are trying to track someone by cell phone number without them knowing, keep in mind that there are good ways to track someone’s location and bad ways. There are apps out on the market, as well as services on the internet, which will help track anyone through their cell phone number. Some of these methods can be done without them even knowing.

How To Track Someone's Location By Their Phone Number

However, tracking someone’s location by cell phone number is something that should not be done without serious consideration of what you’re doing – it can have legal implications, especially if you’re using a third-party service to do so. Using your own tracking device (also called an IMSI catcher) for this task would fall under sting operations and police surveillance.

What Can You Do To Track Someone’s Location?

One way is through your phone number. If the person has your phone number in their contact list, then you can easily send them a text message that will either turn on or off their GPS tracking. Once they have received the message and opened it on their phone, then they’ll see that there’s an option for ‘Enable GPS’.

If they press it, then the next time they use Google Maps, Waze, Mapquest, or another navigation app that uses GPS data to determine where they are located, it will also be sending information back to you about where they are at all times. This might not be something that would happen immediately some apps tend to wait until they’re open before they’ll be able to see the location.

On the other hand, some apps will track their GPS as soon as they startup, which means that it may take a few minutes before any app you send them enables tracking.

In addition to being able to turn on a person’s GPS tracking with a simple text message, it’s also possible for someone who has access to their phone number and device ID to do this without their knowledge at all. This can happen through an application or through one of those annoying ads that pop up when you first load a new website on your phone.

The ad might say something like ‘Know where your kids are?’ With just the click of a button, then they’ll have sent their current location back.

    Location Tracking Applications

“Find My Friends” and “Facebook Messenger” are two of a large number of apps available for smartphones that allow users to send their current location between one another. These applications use mobile data or Wi-Fi, so they won’t work if a person is offline or without a phone.

When you download either of these apps on your smartphone, you can share your location with friends over the internet (provided that they also have the app) simply by sending them a message. If you’re out with your friends at dinner and need to pick up some groceries afterward but only have one car, then it’s easy enough to ask everyone where they are in order to plan who will go where and when.

You can also use these applications to track a person’s location if you’re expecting someone to come and visit. If your children don’t show up for a scheduled time, then you can find them quickly with any one of these apps.

For more information on how to track the phone number of any individual, online location tracking software can be found at various different websites. Some websites charge for their services while others provide them free of cost. However, most sites display intrusive advertisements that might create a disturbance.

    How To Spoof Phone Number?

If the idea of sharing your exact coordinates over the internet sounds a little too freaky for your liking, then there is an alternative solution. These days it is extremely easy to spoof a phone number on both Android and iPhone devices. If you want to look as if you are calling from a different phone number, but still have access to all of the contacts on your device, then use Number Spoofing services.

With this type of software installed on your smartphone, you could send text messages from another number – perhaps that of a friend – and it will appear as if they are coming from your phone. The good thing about spoofing your number is that it can be done from one device, and you can then use that as a way to track someone’s location.

How To Prevent Someone From Tracking Your Location

Location tracking applications are just as easy to spoof as they can be to disable. If you do not want someone to track your location and you want to look as if you aren’t using a GPS tracker on your phone, then turn off location services and remove the battery from your device so that it is unable to track where it’s going.

There are even phones on the market now that will stop working for an individual if their SIM card is removed – this is likely something that most people would like because it could prevent their children from using the phone when they’re out with friends or at school.

    Conclusion

To sum up, if you want to track someone’s location without them knowing, the best way is to use an application or device that will track their phone number. This method is least intrusive and most accurate when it comes to tracking someone’s exact position in real-time.
