Microsoft added a new option named “Experience the New Edge” in the Edge settings using which users can quickly enable the New Edge UI 2023 with rounded corners. Let’s learn more about it.
Recently, the company started testing Rounded Corner Browser Window UI, Rounded Corner for Edge Tabs accompanied by an option to show Profile picture to Title bar. Again, the purpose is to match the browser UI with the Windows 11 UI.
However, comments on the Edge forums show that not all users liked the recent changes that are going to be part of the New Edge Experience.
Fortunately, there are settings available in the Appearance browser settings page of Edge browser from where users can easily turn these ON or OFF depending on their requirements.
Note – Microsoft is testing this option in the Edge Canary browser. So the steps discussed below are not applicable in Edge Stable.

But that’s not stopping the software giant from promoting the New Edge Experience and adding a new one-click option to turn it ON. Here’s how you can do that:
Click on the Elippse (…) to open Settings and more menu and select Appearance.
On this page, scroll down and you will find a new option “Try the new look and feel of Microsoft Edge“. Toggle ON or OFF to try Edge with rounded corner browser window UI and tabs.
To apply the changes, you need to Restart the browser.
Before implementing this option in the Edge appearance settings page, Microsoft tested the same option in the Edge settings menu at the top.
Microsoft is testing this option with limited users. In case, you’re not seeing this option, you can refer to the blog post link in the first paragraph of the post to try the New Edge Experience.

I didn’t want to try it but MS just shoved it down my throat. It looks horrible. The option described in this article doesn’t exist and you have to search the flags. Why does MS do this crap?
