Microsoft has added a new feature in Windows Copilot in Edge browser using which users can upload files directly into the chat box. With the latest update, users can utilize the “Add a file” button or simply drag and drop files into the chat interface. Check feature in action below:
Once a file is uploaded, users have the option to request Copilot to summarize its content, leveraging the AI’s capabilities for efficient document analysis. This enhancement simplifies the process of sharing and analyzing documents within the Copilot environment.
The introduction of file uploads marks a significant advancement in the functionality of Windows Copilot, making it more versatile and user-friendly. It offers users a seamless experience by integrating document handling directly into the chat interface.
However, it’s important to note that the company is rolling out this feature gradually in Edge Canary channel, indicating that not everyone may have immediate access to it.
