Some users are unable to skip Microsoft 365 Trial when setting up OOBE while installing Windows 11 and Windows 10.
While installing Windows 11 or Windows 10 when you reach an OOBE (Out of the Box Experience) Setup, a screen appears where Microsoft suggests users start Microsoft 365 Trial.
Usually, there’s a No Thanks button available on the same screen, clicking on it will skip Microsoft 365 Trial screen and continue the OOBE Setup.
Unfortunately, there’s a new bug related to Microsoft 365 Trial screen that left users no choice but to start the trial. You can check this video or this shared by one of the affected users.
You can clearly see when that user clicks the “No thanks” button to decline the offer, the payment screen appears which makes it impossible to continue installation unless the payment details aren’t entered.
If you landed on this blog post, then definitely you’re facing the same issue, right?
Obviously, it’s a bug that has appeared with the latest version of Windows 10. And we presume that Microsoft has no intention of forcing users to subscribe to Microsoft 365 like that.
