Helldivers 2, the co-operative shooter sequel, seems to have brought its crashing woes from the PC realm to the PlayStation 5.
While PC users have been grappling with crashes for a while, PS5 players are now joining the chorus of frustration. Reports indicate crashes happening randomly during gameplay, with some users experiencing complete blackouts and console shutdowns. Others report consistent crashes around the 20-minute mark.
The culprit remains a mystery, but fingers are pointing toward the recently released Patch 1.000.103. Unfortunately, the developers at Arrowhead Game Studios haven’t shed any light on the issue so far.
Is There a Fix?
There’s no official solution at the moment, but one player suggestion offers a glimmer of hope. Using arc-based weapons might be triggering the crashes. So, until the developers patch things up, it might be wise to ditch the arc weaponry.
