Quick Steps to Turn On Apple Intelligence
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll need to do:
1. Check for the Latest iOS Update
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- Look for the iOS 18.1.1 update and install it if it’s available.
Note: If you’ve already updated to iOS 18.1.1, you’re good to skip this step!
2. Change Your Region
- Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.
- Change your region to United States.
This is necessary because Apple Intelligence is currently available only in the U.S.
3. Adjust Your Language Settings
- Go to Apple Intelligence & Siri Settings.
- Select English (United States) as your preferred language.
4. Join the Waiting List
- In the same Apple Intelligence settings, tap to join the waiting list.
- Once you’ve joined, Apple may take 15–20 minutes (sometimes longer) to send a confirmation.
5. Turn On Apple Intelligence
- After receiving confirmation, go back to the settings and turn on the Apple Intelligence toggle.
6. Test the Feature
- Press the power button to activate Siri with Apple Intelligence. You’ll see a fresh look that confirms it’s working!
