OpenAI recently released GPT-4o, which comes with many new advancements compared to its predecessor, GPT-4. Now, Microsoft announced at its Surface event on Monday that it will use GPT-4o instead of GPT-4 in Copilot for Windows and Bing.
This means that you’ll now see Copilot answering more accurately and with great precision. Also, it will respond more quickly to your queries. This change was first noticed by Leopeva64, and he posted about it on Twitter.
In his testing, he found that the Copilot is responding to his queries faster than before, giving the indication that it is using GPT-4o for the processing instead of GPT-4. However, Microsoft is yet to confirm if Copilot has already started using GPT-4o or when it will start to use it in the near future.
