AI Playlist is one of the newest features that you can enjoy on Spotify as a premium user. This feature allows you to create playlists by simply entering a prompt. For example, you can enter a prompt like “Bass-heavy music.”
Spotify will then use its LLM technology and your listening habits on its platform to create a playlist that is relevant to your prompt. Sounds interesting, right? Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available to everyone.
The reason behind this is that the feature is currently in the beta phase and is only available to premium subscribers of Spotify in the UK and Australia. Spotify did mention in the press release that this feature will be made available to everyone in the future, but the exact month and time are still a mystery.
You might consider connecting to an Australian or UK VPN to access this feature, but unfortunately, that will not work in this case. The only suggestion we can offer at this time is to wait until Spotify rolls out this feature for your country.
But what if you already live in the UK or Australia?
In case you already live in the UK or Australia and still this feature is not showing on Spotify, you should consider visiting the Google Play Store or the App Store and make sure to download the latest update available for Spotify.
Additionally, you should also consider clearing the Spotify cache data, as corrupted files can also be one of the reasons why the AI playlist feature is not showing. To clear Spotify cache data on Android, open the Settings menu and then navigate to Apps > Manage apps > Spotify.
Choose Clear data. Then, tap the Clear cache option.
Unfortunately, there is no one-button solution to clear the cache of an app on iPhone. You will have to reinstall the app if you want to clear its cache data. To reinstall Spotify on your iPhone, open the Settings menu and then head towards General > iPhone Storage > Spotify.
Tap Delete App. Then, choose Delete App again to confirm your decision.
Now, open the App Store and download Spotify on your iPhone.
Once you have cleared Spotify cache on Android and reinstalled it on your iPhone, you should have the AI playlist feature on the app. Again, just to remind you, this feature is currently only available in the UK and Australia.
