Current Status: Issue Resolved
Many users are reporting issues accessing Copilot, a Microsoft feature integrated into Windows and Edge, encountering an error message stating: “We’re sorry but we’re unable to connect to the service at this time.”
This problem appears to extend to Bing search as well, with users greeted by the message: “It’s not you, it’s us” with a full error message that reads “Bing isn’t available right now, but everything should be back to normal very soon” upon attempting to visit the website.
Apart from this, if you’re using Bing as a default search engine on Duck Duck Go, then there are reports that it’s also not working.
Independent outage monitoring service Down Detector has also registered spikes in reported issues for Bing, confirming the widespread nature of the problem.
Apart from this, Open AI and Ecoasia also confirmed that they’re experiencing issues with their search feature and investigating the cause behind this outage.
Microsoft 365 from its X handle shared that, we’re aware of the issue and are investigating the cause behind the outage.
Geeker Mag speculates that the company is actively working towards a resolution. The article assures readers that they will be updated on any further developments.
