According to various reports from users, whenever they try to launch the Arc browser, a “Processor requirements not met” dialog box appears with the error message: “Your processor isn’t currently supported.” A link to the Arc browser system requirements page often accompanies this message.
If you’re receiving this error message, head to the Arc Browser System Requirements page and check if you meet the minimum processor requirements to run the browser.
Fix Processor Requirements Not Met in Arc Browser
In case you meet the minimum requirements but are still seeing the dialog box, it could be due to a bug. Let’s learn how to fix it.
Step-by-Step Fix:
Open File Explorer:
First of all, you need to Enable Show Hidden Files In Windows 11. For that, click on View > Show > Hidden Items
. This option should be enabled before moving further.
Navigate to the Following Location:
C:\Users\dhima\AppData\Local\Packages\TheBrowserCompany.Arc_ttt1ap7aakyb4\LocalCache\Local\firestore\Arc\bcny-arc-server\main
Delete Specific Files:
In this location, you will find two files named Current
and Manifest 000002
, or 000005, 000006
, and similar. Delete both files.
Although not required, I suggest you restart your computer.
Relaunch the Arc Browser:
Doing this will recreate the files that were causing the bug, and you may be able to run the browser without the prompt.
If you still see the dialog box, try performing the same steps again. The majority of users have reported that they managed to fix the issue with this solution.
Future Updates:
It’s likely that the developers behind the Arc browser are aware of this issue and may fix it in future updates.
