Hyper-V is a built-in virtualization software from Microsoft that allows users to create virtual environments and run different operating systems. It is like VMware and Virtual Box. Microsoft has added hardware virtualization using Hyper-V. Using Hyper-V, you can virtualize your hardware components like hard discs, RAM, and also network.
You can easily enable Hyper-V Manager in Windows 11 Pro edition. In case, you’re running Windows 11 Home edition, then it doesn’t have Hyper-V feature out of the box. Interested users who want to use Hyper-V feature have to add it manually using a script.
Enable and Install Hyper-V on Windows 11 Home

So without further ado, lets get started:
Open Notepad file on your Windows 11 PC. For that, click on the Search icon and type Notepad. When it appears in search results, click to open it.
In the notepad file, you need to copy and paste the following code:
dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages*Hyper-V*.mum >hyper-v.txt
for /f %%i in ('findstr /i . hyper-v.txt 2^>nul') do dism /online /norestart
Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V -All /LimitAccess /ALL
Click the File > Save as. When Save a dialog box appear, you need to name it Hyper to save the notepad file.
Now save the Notepad file as Hyper-V.bat (or whatever you want to name it) and select location where you want to save it, (select desktop for ease) and then click Save button to save the script.
Right-click on the Hyper-V.bat file that you have created and select Run as administrator.
Clicking the Yes button will run a script on your PC running Windows 11 Home edition.
Once script execution is completed, you need to restart your computer by typing Y as a input.
At this point, you have successfully added a Hyper-V feature in PC running Windows 11 Home Edition.
Press WIN + R key combo to open the Run dialog box, then type optionalfeatures.exe and then click OK. This will open the “Turn Windows Features on or off” window.
Here, you need to look for Hyper-V management tools and Hyper-V Platform and check boxes for both options and then click OK
Doing this will start obtaining files required to run Hyper V feature on Windows 11 PC.
Once done, you will be asked to reboot your computer to apply the changes or enable Hyper-V on Windows 11 home.
At this point, you have enabled Hyper-V feature in Windows 11. To create a virtual machine in Windows 11. Yo need to click on the search icon and type Hyper-V Manager and when it appears in search results, click to open it.
