Starting with Microsoft Edge Canary v90.0.807.0, the company has added checkboxes next to passwords saved in the browser. The purpose is to offer users functionality using which they can delete all passwords at once.
In the Stable version of Edge browser, users have to delete passwords one by one. Edge users were requesting this for a long time and it seems like, the company decided to add it to the browser.
Microsoft is testing functionality to delete all passwords at once in Edge browser with limited users under Controlled feature roll out. So it is possible that even if you’re using the latest version of Edge Canary you might not able to access the functionality.
How to Delete All Saved Passwords at Once in Microsoft Edge
In case, you’re curious to check how you can delete all saved passwords in Edge browser at once, then here’s how you can do that:
Update Microsoft Edge Canary to latest version.
Open Edge browser and then click Ellipse (…) icon and select Settings.
On the left side, select the Profile tab, and then on the right side, click on the select Passwords. You can visit this address
edge://settings/passwords to directly reach the Passwords settings page.
Next, head over to the Saved Password section. Here, you will get the list of all the passwords you have saved in Edge Password Manager.
Note – Before deleting password, we suggest users to exports password just to keep yourself on the safe side. For that, click on the Ellipse (…) icon next to the Saved Passwords title.
Here, you can check boxes next to saved passwords. Doing this will bring the bar showing you message i.e. x number of password selected accompanied by Delete button, click on it.
