Microsoft is working on improving it’s ‘Your Phone’ app for Windows 10 and frequently updating the app with lots of new features and settings. Those who don’t know, Your Phone app let you link your phone to Windows 10, and then you can access your phone right from the desktop.
Recently, Microsoft has added a new feature to Your Phone app using which users can directly access apps installed on an Android phone linked to Windows 10 PC. Microsoft is testing this feature with selected Samsung devices. Earlier Microsoft has added other features which include:
- Control your Music & Audio apps from within the Your Phone app
- Your Phone app has hidden copy text from an image feature
- Your Phone app to have Picture-in-Picture mode
- Your Phone app to have Device Status bar Indicators Soon
The applications will run in different flyout within Your Phone app. The feature makes the app more productive and lets you do the multitasking and save your time. You can pin Android apps to the Windows 10 Start menu or Taskbar for easy and quick access.
With the help of this feature, you can quickly check your social feed while wrapping up a conference or ordering your lunch. You can enjoy all this without picking up your phone.
Minimum Requirements:
- Make sure, you’re running Windows 10 October 2018 Update or later.
- Android phones running Android 9.0 or greater with the Link to Windows integration
