Launch the Photos app on your iPhone.
Open the live photo from which you want to remove the audio.
Tap the Edit button visible on the upper right corner of the screen to open the photo in edit mode.
Next, tap on the Live photo icon at the bottom left of the screen. Doing this will open the same in Live Photo edit mode.
Here, tap on the Speaker icon visible on the upper left corner of the screen. Once you do that, the icon gets changed from Yellow to Grey.

At last, click on Done to save the changes. As simple as that!
After doing this, if you play the same live photo, you won’t hear the audio. And you can share it with your friends fearlessly.
What if you want to restore the audio of Live Photo? Fortunately, iPhone keeps a copy of the original live photo. You just need to revert the change made using the steps discussed above.
