Last Year, the Social Networking giant announced they have plans of integrating its messaging apps and starting this week, which has taken a step forward.
Facebook-owned Instagram is testing a new option using which users will be able to view Messenger messages right in Instagram Direct Inbox.
Update – 10/06/2020 – Instagram has changed the “Get Messenger in Instagram” option to “Get new features“. The screenshot is shared by alex193a on Twitter.

Facebook’s plan to integrate its messaging apps has taken another small step forward this week, with Instagram testing out a new option that would enable you to view your Messenger messages in your Instagram Direct inbox.
Instagram also confirmed this news via tweet that feature is under development and its not ready for the user’s roll-out yet.
