Microsoft is working on integrating the Office app and Windows 10 Mail app. Soon there will option to open Office apps which include Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
You will see a new section at the bottom of Mail’s left pane featuring shortcuts to open Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
To open Office apps; Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, you need to click on any of the listed Office app shortcuts and it will launch the app. It’s obvious that Office apps need to install on your computer to work these shortcuts properly.
The integration of Office apps in Windows 10 Mail app will make it easier for users to create document and send it via mail instantly.
