If you prefer clutter free extension toolbar and menu in Chrome browser, then the New Extension toolbar is worth trying.
Chrome menu (available on upper right corner) offer users a place where icon of all the extensions which you have installed in Chrome browser will appear.
Starting with Chrome v75, the company introduced new feature called “Chrome New Extension menu” behind the flags. It offer users all-one-place for all the extension installed on the browser. The same area will be represented by combined toolbar (plugin) icon.
In case you still don’t know about the New Extension menu in Chrome browser, then here’s how you can enable it
Launch Chrome browser and visit following flag address: chrome://flags/#extensions-toolbar-menu
Here, change the Settings for “Extensions Toolbar Menu” from Default to Enabled.
At last, click on the Relaunch button.
Doing this will Enable the Extensions Toolbar Menu and all your installed extensions will be hidden behind Extension icon, available on the upper right corner.
Clicking the same Extension icon will show you list of all the extension which you have installed on Chrome browser.
From the menu, you can select which Extension icon to appear in the Chrome extension toolbar. For that, you need to click on the Pin Extension icon next to Extension name.
You can also click on the More action (Three Vertical dots) and manage the extension according to your requirement.
From the options, you can Remove the extension, Upin, Manage Extension or Inspect popup.

Starting today after Google announcement, some users reporting that the Chrome New Toolbar menu is enabled with default settings and all the extensions icons are hidden behind Extension icon. Previously users have to Pin the extensions manually, but it hide extension out of the box.
On the other hand, some users are not happy with this behavior and would like bring back the same functionality where extension already appear in the Extension area after installing.
For that, you have to disable New Extension toolbar. Visit Launch Chrome browser and visit following flag address: chrome://flags/#extensions-toolbar-menu
Here, change the Settings for “Extensions Toolbar Menu” from Default to Disabled.
Relaunch to apply the changes.
So depending on your choice, you can either enable or disable new Chrome extension toolbar menu.
